“ABC des Tanzes”: Insightful Rehearsals with Graz Opera Ballet for Dance Enthusiasts

The series “ABC des Tanzes” offers an insight into the world beyond the performances of the Graz Opera Ballet and is aimed at dance fans and those hungry for knowledge.

In the 2022/23 season, three ABCs are again on the program.

On September 23rd, Jo Strømgren will open a rehearsal of his play Too Beautiful to Die in the original set design.

On December 16th you can be there live at the rehearsal of a new scene for the big ballet evening “Carmen”. Beate Vollack tells you interesting facts about the piece.

In the third “ABC des Tanzes” on April 14, you will experience the work on the art of breathing and dancing together in a pas de deux of the creation of the choreographer and ballet master Sascha Pieper for his new piece “Death and the Maiden”.

To get in the mood, there is an opportunity to watch the warm-up 30 minutes before the start of each ABC event.
