A young person stuck in a chimney
As reported by our colleagues from Midi-Freean unusual story took place a few days ago in Hérault. A young man in his twenties entered a unoccupied house through the chimney. What did he want to do? A burglary, squatter? Was he practicing a professional reconversion of Santa Claus ? An accomplice of Remi Gaillard preparing a new hoax?
His adventure did not end as he probably would have liked. In fact, neighbors were alerted by screams and alerted the emergency services. When the Hérault Fire Brigade and Gendarmerie arrived on site in the town of Clermont-l’Héraultthey discovered the young man stuck in the chimney flue!
After an intervention requiring the demolition of a part, the man was able to be released. The gendarmes are now trying to find out the reasons for this intrusion into this chimney…
