The events happened last Friday, October 7, when Frederick Estévez, a 22-year-old Dominican, was moving around the corner of 178th Street and Southern Boulevard in the Bronx. While crossing the place, a truck made a turn, without stopping, and the young man collided with the side of the vehicle. According to his mother, Estévez has blows to the brain, lung and his head is disfigured.
