a year after their separation, the group is back and ignites Twitter…

On February 22, 2021, the famous group Daft Punk announced with surprise, the end of their duo. The separation had been announced through a mysterious video called “Epilogue”, shared on social networks. An eight-minute film that showed the two members hidden behind their traditional robot masks, walking through a desert. At the end of the video, one ended up triggering the self-destruct system of the other, which was pulverized… A way to announce the end of their iconic group formed in 1993.
It was indeed at the beginning of the 1990s that Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo launched the electro group that is as adored as it is mysterious. Absence of concerts, refusal to reveal their faces, zero promotion… the duo stood out with this extraordinary communication strategy.
The group about to reform?
A year to the day after the announcement of their separation, the group has fueled hopes of reformation. This Tuesday, February 22, 2022, a video was indeed shared on social networks. Unfortunately for the fans, it was simply a post celebrating the 25th anniversary of their first album with the video of a 1997 concert organized in Los Angeles, on the Twitch platform.
As noted by fans, the concert streamed on Twitch began streaming at “2:22 p.m. Pacific Time,” or 10:22 p.m. GMT, on 02/22/2022. A sign that the group could reform after this symbolic date…
