A woman tied herself to the Roland Garros network and said: Our time is running out!

After the first semifinal match in the men’s “Roland Garros” between Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev ended prematurely due to an injury of the German tennis player, the second was also interrupted, but for another reason. In the third set of the match between Casper Ruud (Norway) and Marin Cilic (Croatia), a woman came off the court from the audience and tied to the net in protest.

The lady in question, who minutes later became known to be a 22-year-old Frenchwoman named Alize, wore a T-shirt with the message – “We have 1028 days left!”.

There was also a website address on the T-shirt that set out the ideas she supported. They are related to global warming and global climate problems.

“We are now in 2022 and it is time for me to face reality. And it is such that politicians send us to a world in which Roland Garros will not be able to exist. I entered the court today because I can no longer take the risk of doing nothing in all these climate problems, “the website said.

Her message also states that we have 1,028 days to decide the future of humanity. The countdown began on March 28, 2022, when the Last Renovation organization sent an ultimatum to the French government on the date on which they would take civil disobedience.

In the end, the protester was taken off the court by several guards and the match continued with a draw – 1: 1, then Ruud won 3: 1 and for the first time in his career qualified for the final of a Grand Slam tournament.
