Thiruvananthapuram: A training plane crashed at Thiruvananthapuram airport due to engine failure. A small training plane belonging to the Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy was shot down.
The airport authorities stated that he lost control during take-off. Only the pilot was on board. He escaped unhurt.
