One of the most mystical personalities of the soc, the man for whom all sorts of urban legends were carried, left this world before he lived to a ripe old age. Vladimir Zhivkov – the son of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party and Chairman of the State Council of the People’s Republic of Bulgaria Todor Zhivkov died at the age of 69 on the 40th anniversary of the death of his sister Lyudmila Zhivkova.
Vladko, as the people called him, was not well health in the last ten years, but not chronic diseases were the cause of his death. What put him in the grave turned out to be a mystery to our greatest luminaries in medicine. Zhivkov spent the last months of his life in hospitals, where they never managed to give him a specific diagnosis. His symptoms were excruciating, but they were not related to a disease known to medics.
At the beginning of the summer, Vladko began to have difficulty eating and drinking fluids, Weekend reports, citing information from his relatives, whose condition was deteriorating day by day, but the former bon vivant definitely did not want to go to the hospital. get his daughter Betty back from abroad and beg him to go to the hospital.
The loving daughter managed to convince her father to seek help from specialists. Vladimir’s family found a clinic where they could provide him with a private room, and he was admitted for treatment. With him, his wife Valya entered the hospital to give him courage and service.
Alas, no matter how hard the medics tried, there was nothing they could do to improve the patient. His mysterious illness continued to torment him and came to the fatal day when Vovava drowned to death with his sputum owners.
“A cruel death that I do not wish on my greatest enemies. I hope the sufferer is in a better place now. I hope he enjoys peace and tranquility surrounded by mom, dad and poop,” said a relative.
Upon learning of his father’s death, Vladimir’s son Todor Zhivkov Jr. immediately flew in from America, where he lives with his mother Marusya Mirchevska.
