Former OKTAGON MMA heavyweight champion Michal Martínek entered his second match within the ACA organization. The first duel with the American giant Daniel James did not turn out according to the ideas of the Czech MMA wrestler. The American had a great height and weight advantage, which he was able to take full advantage of. Despite a successful first round, Martínek fell in the second after a technical knockout.
At the beginning of the fight, Martínek had a better movement. By the middle of the first round, however, the Lithuanian opponent was able to throw him to the ground twice. In the first case, the Czech fighter escaped. In the second, he even turned his opponent over, but the end of the opening round did not release him to more pressure.
Lithuanian Tomas Pakutinskas was a different opponent for the Czech fighter from the last ones he struggled with. “Here the opponent is as tall as me, he basically has a smaller margin, which is a nice change for me, given that I had the last matches with a giant,” said Michal Martínek.

During the second act, the native of Prague got into great trouble when Pakutinskas regularly hit him with hard blows. In addition, both fighters began to run out of energy. Martínek got out of the unfavorable situation – he knocked down the 34-year-old opponent to the ground and already controlled the rest of the second round.
Pakutinskas had a somewhat slower entry into professional MMA. He lost the first seven duels before the limit. Subsequently, however, he began to collect victories and developed into a fighter who can end the opponent in position and on the ground.

This time, however, no decision was made before the limit. The last five minutes turned into a real war. It was expected which side would deliver a decisive blow. Three minutes before the end of the duel, Martínek surprised the Lithuanians with a great shot, which secured him the final advantage. Apparently this moment tilted the duel to the side of the Czech fighter.
“We have won a victory. We were in every possible position. Victory is important. Then we will analyze the errors. There is still work to be done. There are even matches here. I’m not saying it was a perfect performance. But it is important not to give up, “said Martínek immediately after the match.
Rajnoch fell with the home fighter in the main card match
The main pre-match of the ACA 122 gala evening with the Czech representation in the form of Vítězslav Rajnoch sounded better to the Belarusian rancher Artyom Damkovsky.
