Liberec On Sunday, firefighters in the Liberec Region removed the consequences of strong storms with gusts of wind up to 90 kilometers per hour. They intervened mainly in the Semily and Jablonec regions. They were occupied by fallen trees and power lines. In some places, the roads were completely or partially impassable. This was said by Lucie Hložková, a spokeswoman for the regional fire brigade.

“We have reported more than 15 events so far,” the spokeswoman said. She added that the places where the trees fell on the lines were handed over by firefighters to the employees of the ČEZ energy company.
