Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dr. Sami Al-Hamoud, an addiction specialist, has revealed the possibility of a Shabu addict returning to his normal life after the treatment program.
Al-Hamoud said during his appearance on the Ya Hala program that the addict will improve according to scientific studies, but the survival of the mind-affecting substance is a matter of controversy.
He added that some of the negative effects will remain, and the doctor treating the addiction case prescribes drugs that reduce the effects, and some say that the brain takes 100 days to prepare its activity.
He added that the situation will undoubtedly improve, and some effects may remain and can be resolved through recovery and prevention programs.
