The office also leads the work of the health department and the good availability of protective equipment. This had been lacking at the beginning of the pandemic, including in the region.

The district administration warns that the number of infections could rise again at any time. “A second wave in autumn / winter is likely.” You should therefore keep to the hygiene rules in order to continue to reduce infections as much as possible. There have been minor local outbreaks in the past few weeks, which were quickly recognized and contained by the health department.
