The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in St. Petersburg confirmed that the fire occurred inside the refrigerator with dimensions of 2 by 6 by 3 meters.

“There were no injuries, the container was not opened,” the department noted after the elimination of the fire.

According to the “Fontanka”, at the time the fire started, the bodies of five people were in the refrigerator. The cause of their death is still being established, therefore, these dead patients are only conditionally considered “coveted.”

“Dr. Peter” informsthat the burnt refrigerator was inspected by “employees in protective suits”, then the container was taken away.

In early May, it became known that special refrigerated containers appeared near the buildings of several St. Petersburg hospitals. Then officials reported that most of them were not used.
