After Friday, it was 7500 LL, today it reached 7800-7900 LL, on the black market.
Yesterday, the Governor of the Banque du Liban from Saraya stressed that “the Central Bank of Lebanon, just as any central bank in the world, has no possibility to approach the black market that takes more publicity than it deserves, because the movement in it is minimal and disorganized.” He emphasized that “the goal of the central bank is to be the largest part of the markets in which there is an exchange of parts, within organized markets and within banks.”
