A profit of 36.5 million euros for Chelsea over the 2019-2020 season

“Of course, the coronavirus pandemic has had a big impact on Chelsea’s income. But we still managed to make a profit, which is an important sign of our strength and our financial stability ”Chelsea President Bruce Buck said Thursday.

The London club, currently sixth in the Premier League, has a surplus of 32.5 million pounds, or 36.5 million euros, over the financial year ended June 30, 2020. And this, thanks to its presence in the Champions League (elimination in the round of 16 against Bayern Munich, 0-3, 1-4) after a year of absence, but above all to the sales of players in particular that of the Belgian striker Eden Hazard to Real Madrid for 100 M €, which dates back to June 2019.
