Doha: the nephew of Brazil’s assistant coach Adinor Leonardo Bakshi received a precious gift for the Palestinian citizen.
The incident, which went viral on social media, is welcome news for the World Cup in Qatar. After the match between Brazil and Serbia on the 24th, a photo of Hussam Saffarini with a sleeping child on his shoulder went viral.
Hussam was identified as wearing the Palestinian flag. Hussam didn’t realize he had helped the Brazil manager’s family.
In a press conference, Bakshi revealed that he is interested in meeting the man who has helped his family and is proof of how much football is loved. Hussam was soon recognized. The Brazilian team received Hussam Saffarini with a shirt signed by all 26 members of the team.
