When he signed for Bàsquet Girona, after having represented Zentro Basket de Madrid in 2020/21, Gonçalo Delgado already knew that the Catalan emblem, founded in 2014, was chaired by Marc Gasol. He found “a good and organized project”, but what the Portuguese international could not imagine was coming to share the resort with the Spanish glory.
