The Internet user writes “this is how we treat patients in the Basque Country. Welcome to the emergency department of the Bayonne hospital at night”.

In the video, the person filming exclaims: “no but that’s the joke!”. Joined by France Bleu Pays Basque, communication from the hospital confirms the incident, it is indeed the waiting room for adult emergencies. Given the time of the Twitter post, it seems that the scene took place around 3 a.m. on Monday, May 24. The management of the hospital is checking on Monday how the incident could have happened. The hospital delegates the management of its screens to a private company, but hospital staff can also take control of the programs.
