Friday, we learned, in Chimay, the accidental death of Eric Petry, professor of physical education appreciated by the Royal Athenaeum.
The teacher was spending his holidays in the Alps when he was the victim of an accident in the mountains, during a climbing session it seems.
The announcement of his death threw consternation in Chimay where this jovial and sympathetic figure was well known.
Since then, tributes have continued to flow, especially on Facebook, to honor the memory of this professor who marked the minds so much within the teaching staff and among the students of the Royal Athenaeum of Chimay.
