On today’s episode of Locked On Yankees, Stacey discusses the New York Mets making a big trade while the Yankees continue to sit on their hands. Oh wait, they did make a trade for Greg Allen (Who? Yes, exactly). Former Yankee Phil Hughes announced his retirement this week and this caused Stacey to reminisce about the 2007 season when Hughes made his debut for the Bronx Bombers and when the Yankees started off terribly but recovered enough to get eliminated from the playoffs in the Division Series against the Cleveland Indians. Not every trip down memory lane is a good one.
