Apple is preparing to launch its new line of laptops and desktop computers, including the new iMac computer, according to a technology analyst at bloombergMichael Gorman.
Gorman says that the new generation of devices is not the only one on the list of Apple news, as it has also made management changes and won important cases.
Gorman adds that the new Apple desktop computer is in an advanced stage of development called engineering proficiency testing, and the company is currently conducting production tests of a limited number of the device.
And with formal specifications similar to its predecessor, the new device will have a 24-inch screen, and similar colors to the current model, which was launched two years ago.
But the new device will be even more powerful – with a new M-series chip to replace the M1.
Gorman says Apple is scheduled to release about three new portable Macs between late spring and summer.
The company is also preparing, according to the analyst, to release iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 developments to developers. The first beta version added some tweaks to Apple Music, Podcasts, and the web apps.
And it seems that the company also got an important victory in the field of antitrust in Europe, where the European Union reduced the scope of the antitrust case against Apple, after the two sides agreed on settlements that could save the company millions of dollars.
