A fifth list is therefore on the ranks for them 2020 municipal elections in Niort. It is called “Solidarity by nature!”. The First 20 names were unveiled on Monday. A list “from the left”, in which there are 50% of non-inserts, Niortais from all districts, from different socio-professional categories, with an average age of 41 years. The list “Solidarity by nature!” is supported in particular by rebellious France and the Communist Party.
Depersonalize politics
No head of list designated for the moment but two pairs. “We want to depersonalize these municipal elections and put forward above all our collective, our program”, says Jérémy Robineau, an employee at IMA. “Our head of the list is Niort”.
In this program we find a municipal health center project, therapid opening of emergency accommodation, the creation of an eco-citizenship house to develop good practices or even a communal and educational farm. Another important point for “Solidaires par nature”: the democratic revival. “We want to set up binding referendums on major subjects. It would not be just giving people a voice but receiving this word and taking it into account”says Elsa Fortage, a 20-year-old nursing student.
“Solidarity by nature!” organize a new public meeting this Wednesday, January 29 in Noron from 7:30 p.m.. The entire list is due to be released on February 10.

The left which therefore appears divided in Niort with also the lists “Niort new energy” and “Niort in +”. Outgoing mayor Jérôme Baloge officially announced his candidacy for a second term last Friday. Jean-Romée Charbonneau is also a candidate for the national rally.
