A network of health professionals established

A psychoeducator is currently recruiting professionals in the health network to continue the start-up of a private business aimed at providing services to families and individuals in the Mauricie and Center-du-Québec regions.

Founded in 2015, the IMPÉC company was officially incorporated on November 8 and is just starting to flap its wings.

As its founder, Raphaël Blais explains, IMPÉC aims to develop a network of people working in the field of physical, psychological and social health. He hopes to recruit health professionals such as psychologists, psychoeducators, speech therapists, occupational therapists and chiropractors. He mentions prioritizing the public health network. However, since the waiting lists can be long, the option of the private network should be considered, according to him, in order to ensure that the current problem does not increase.

Whether for a back problem, depression, anxiety, Mr. Blais realizes that these chronic pains get worse over time, for lack of space. He believes it is essential to attract health professionals to address the already glaring problem in an efficient manner.

Mr. Blais insists that he is not trying to found a clinic, but that it is indeed a network that he wants to solidify. This will allow him to refer patients to different specialists, if necessary.

However, he does not want to compete with anyone in the healthcare network, explaining that he has no non-competition clause. “Someone who comes to work with me can also go and work elsewhere,” says Blais. What I need is for the person to be able to help me help people. “

Big challenges ahead

Raphaël Blais recognizes that there will be a number of challenges ahead of him in the months and years to come. “I’m going to have to have fair and equitable contracts for professionals,” he adds. So it is to find a common agreement with them, because it is not me who imposes the amounts. I want to get along with every professional. “

Now that he has created the network, the next step that awaits Mr. Blais will be to solidify it, and therefore to finalize the contracts with these professionals, to allow them to start working. He will therefore have to adapt to the demand he will receive, that is to say to include as many psychologists, psychoeducators, and physical health professionals as requested, for example physiotherapists, among others.
