BERLIN, KOMPAS.TV – Muslim, Jewish and Christian imams laid the first stone for the construction of a common place of worship in Berlin, Germany.
They erected a building called the ‘House Of One’ as a symbol of inter-religious harmony. The idea of making a multi-religious building has been embedded for 10 years.
However, it is now gradually becoming a reality after the leaders of Christians, Jews, and Muslims laid the foundation stone for its construction on Thursday (27/5/2021).
Father Gregor Hohberg, one of the leaders of the initiative, said the House of One is a house of peace where Jews, Christians, Muslims, people of other faiths, even those who are not religious.
‘House of One’ is a place for all groups to meet and dialogue.

Father Gregor Hohberg also said the presence of the ‘House of One’ is very important given what is happening in Germany and the world today.
