The firefighters and the Samu du Var intervened, Sunday, May 1, shortly before 3 p.m., on a road accident. This took place on the RD 562, avenue de Grasse and involved a motorcyclist in his forties.
“The motorcycle rider, a 40-year-old man, is seriously injured”reports the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) of Var.
A helicopter dispatched to the scene
“The SMUR DRAGUIGNAN medical team and that of the Samu 83 helicopter are dispatched to the scene”, report the firefighters. Traffic is very disrupted on this axis during the intervention of the emergency services.
The victim was transported by SAMU helicopter to the Sainte-Anne Joint Hospital.
