Apple should refresh its range of tablets iPad this year. A recent photo shared on twitter by leaker David Kowalski from @xleaks7 gives us an overview of the possible design of theiPad Mini 6 5G from 2021. We do not yet have exact details regarding the launch date and price of the tablet at this point, but it is rumored that the Cupertino company may unveil new iPads during the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) scheduled for next June, at a price between 399 and 499 dollars.
According to @ xleaks7, the photo above is of a 3D model of the iPad Mini 6 that Apple uses to “prototype” its devices before they go into production. The dimensions are very similar to what leaked a few months ago via CAD renderings, namely 203.2 x 134.8 x 6.25mm. This would make it quite similar to the iPad Mini of 2019, except for thinner edges. The screen, meanwhile, would be much larger on the 2021 model.
This 3D printed model also features rounded edges, which seems to be another difference from the current version of the iPad Mini. As always with rumors, nothing tells us if Apple will keep this design on its iPad Mini 6.
