Palakkad: A middle-aged man died after falling from a speeding private bus in Erimayur. A native of Erimayur, TP Johnson is dead.
He died after falling out of the bus door by jumping over the hump. The incident happened near Erimayur High School at 8.45am on Friday. The bus door was locked.
The incident occurred after Johnson boarded the bus and walked 200 yards. He fell when the bus jumped over the hump.
Johnson, who suffered serious head injuries, was first admitted to a private hospital in Alathur and then to Thrissur Medical College.
But the death occurred in the evening. Johnson allegedly worked in a private firm in Kannalur.
