A mayor and his wife jumped out of the car that caught fire while driving, in Mehedinți County

When he saw the flames primaryHe pulled the key out of the ignition and jumped out of the car with his wife as the car rolled down the road. The mayor ran, got back in the car and applied the parking brake.

With the help of another driver, they tried to extinguish the flames themselves with a fire extinguisher. However, the car was burning like a torch when firefighters arrived on the scene.

The car was completely damaged and taken to scrap metal.

ISU Drobeta firefighters concluded that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the electrical cables.
