Casey King now shares his experience with subscribers and tells what needs to be done in order not to repeat his path.

38-year-old Casey King from Georgia (USA), who once weighed 380 kilograms, became a member of the reality show Family by the Ton (analogous to “Star and Happy”), and four years later showed a phenomenal result of working on himself, losing weight to 113 kilograms. Now the man wants to lose at least 11 more kg, writes Daily Mail.

The American demonstrates his progress on Instagram, where over 38 thousand people follow his life.

When Casey became a member of the show, he did not work anywhere and lived with his father, who was forced to serve his huge son.

“I’ll eat until I die. A typical day for me is to wake up around 12, decide what I’m going to eat immediately, and then TV, video games, bed. It’s not a lot of activity,” he said.

The man played video games naked because no clothes fit him.

“It’s hot in Georgia and all my clothes are tight, so I just sit naked, free as possible, and no one bothers me – the door is closed, I’m fine,” King said. At that time, the program participant admitted that only in the virtual space could he feel like a full-fledged person and escape from everyday reality, where he was mocked because of his huge weight.

According to him, his life did not turn out the way he dreamed.

“I never would have thought that at 34 I would live with my father, I would have no job, no real money, and I would play video games and eat all day long,” Casey said during the video presentation.

By the end of his studies at school, he weighed almost 140 kg, and after that he went to work in catering establishments, where he often ate.

“Back then I must have weighed about 230 kilos and it was getting too hard to work, so I quit my job. My mom said you have to have a job to live in this house, so she kicked me out. The only place I had to go was home my father, so I went there,” Casey continued his confession, adding that his father always supported him and gave him his favorite food, which couriers delivered in huge quantities.

All this ultimately led to the fact that the weight of the man became even greater. His father even forbade him to take a shower, because Casey got stuck in it a couple of times, and once sat for nine hours waiting for help. Since then, he has bathed in a large metal tub in the yard that his parent bought for him:

“Now I’m bathing in this tub outside because I can’t physically wash in a sitz bath or standing shower. Because I’m a big guy with folds, I have to move, almost like a pig, wallow and roll over to reach the back of my leg. I have to lift literally pieces of skin. It’s just a very complicated process.”

Despite the fact that father and son were very close, it was increasingly difficult for King Sr. to serve the offspring, which was getting heavier every year.

“I got to the point where I needed him to help me do things no parent wants to do when you’re in your 30s. I needed his help to clean myself up, you know, to wipe my ass, for example. , because I can’t reach everything behind my back and below the belt, ”the participant of the show recalled.

Casey joined the Family by the Ton project four years ago

On the project, Casey met bariatric surgeon Dr. Charles Procter, Jr. ed.). The doctor explained that surgery is indispensable if King wants to lose weight.

Before going to the operation, Casey had to lose some weight on his own. At first, he resisted healthy eating and training, but then his mother intervened in the process.

She watched how he eats and his activity, not allowing her son to beat the time playing video games.

“We jokingly say that my mother is a drill sergeant. She’s just more in control of what I eat, how much I eat, and sometimes she’s so strict with my diet that I think cheating. I’m not proud of it. The diet sucks,” he shared.

Casey underwent a gastrectomy to reduce the side of his stomach.

“My stomach went from the size of a basketball to a tennis ball. So the amount of food I ate was much less,” he said in a story on the social network.

The operation helped him lose 50 kg. After the show ended, he followed a strict diet and hired a personal trainer. Casey continued to lose weight and shared his personal accomplishments on social media, including talking about the first 5K he completed in September 2019. The following month, he celebrated a weight reduction of 180 kg.

Casey’s weight loss remained steady and when he turned 37 in November 2021, he weighed 115kg.

“I’m the healthiest since high school. I’m the happiest and I don’t know if I’ve ever felt more or loved myself more,” he said.

For the past three years, King has been with Home Depot, the largest American retailer in the world that sells building supplies and home improvement tools. The American shares proven weight loss tips with subscribers. His top recommendation is to drink water all day and avoid sugary drinks like soda and sugared tea.

As for his diet, he advised focusing on protein intake, which should be either baked, grilled or steamed rather than fried, marinated or high in sugar. Casey avoids unnecessary carbs whenever she can and also eats plenty of vegetables. The man also noted that the more weight a person loses, the higher his activity should be. He suggested using a cell phone or a fitness tracker to keep track of your steps and calories burned:

“Be as active as possible. Put activity into everything. Find something that interests you so you can be active. I’ve been into hiking and I’ve always loved running, so that’s what I do. Do whatever works for you.”

Now Casey will have the last stage – an operation to remove sagging skin after losing weight. In January 2022, a friend started a GoFundMe page to help him raise money for his surgery. He had a goal of $15,000 and has raised more than $18,000 so far. However, it’s unclear when King will decide on a new operation, as he is afraid of them.

Previously Focus talked about a Chinese man who lost 142 kg in six months and grew by 2 cm.
