An earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 5.3 occurred in Pangandaran, West Java (West Java). Earthquake no potential for a tsunami.
“No potential for a tsunami,” wrote the BMKG on its Twitter account on Sunday (11/20/2022).
The earthquake occurred at 01.28 WIB with coordinates 8.11 south latitude-107.87 east longitude. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the sea 82 km southwest of Pangandaran regency.
The depth of the earthquake is 24 km. The earthquake was felt on the MMI IV scale at Garut.
