The increases in bills are becoming a real nightmare for Italians and yet there are some who are saving themselves from the terrible increases.
Inflation has inflated the bills and an unprecedented sting has come for all Italians. But if at the end of last year it was still said that the increases in bills would not be so strong and in any case transitory, it is now clear that the inflationary flare-up is truly terrible.
The war in Ukraine, then, really risks making things degenerate because energy market experts say that more blows are on the way. Italians try to save as best they can, but savings attempts often turn out to be a boomerang. In fact, consumer protection associations are underlining how many Italians who are changing operators to look for some savings are actually often doing bad deals.

We are bombarded with phone calls with “very convenient” offers for both electricity and gas, but then on closer inspection these offers do not have this great convenience, on the contrary they often turn out to be choices at a loss. But there are some Italians who until now have not paid a single cent increase: for them the sting has never arrived. Let’s see who they are. So whoever has this type of contract has certainly taken the sting out of the expensive bill in full. Those who join the free market, on the other hand, find themselves in a different situation, but substantially the increases also come for them even if they are modulated in a different way. So how did some Italians not be affected in the least by the rising bill? These Italians are those who, out of great foresight or perhaps even for simple luck, signed special contracts for electricity and gas at a fixed price before the onset of inflation.

Before this tremendous season of lifespan augmentation began, such a contract might not have seemed particularly appealing, but today those who made that choice are certainly delighted. However, even those who have chosen the locked price will not benefit from this option forever, because this type of contract still has a deadline for the locked price. So the increase in the bill will come at some point for them too.
