Emblematic site of Quimperlé, the Frémeur hospital has retained the typical structure of the medieval hospital and the particularity of its chapel opening onto the dormitories. Despite some changes linked to the successive adaptations of a hospital establishment, which operated for more than 500 years. The original structure has therefore remained legible, with its three traditional spaces in a medieval hospital: place of prayer, place of care and place of residence.
