Sometimes the stories from romantic movies, in which the man heroically saves a stranger and then falls in love with her, become a reality. Or vice versa – life inspires the romance of the screen.

That’s how yoga instructor Nupur Gupta from India and financial advisor Attila Bosnyak from Hungary met and fell in love, Good News Network writes.

In February 2019, Nupur swam in the ocean, but strong waves swept her away and began to sink. Attila, a tourist from Hungary, noticed that the girl was in trouble and rushed to save her.

Although he was a good swimmer when he reached the young woman, he realized that he could not help her alone. The two swam to the nearest rock so the girl could grab something, and he climbed the rock to find help.

When Nupur was finally brought ashore, Attila collapsed ashore with relief. Not only was he very tired from the hard swim, but he also got a lot of bruises and abrasions while climbing the rock.

The instructor decided she needed to take care of her savior. She ran to the nearest store and returned with first aid supplies and chocolate ice cream. After processing all the abrasions, she handed the ice cream to the stranger.

Maybe it was all because of the chocolate effect, but just then Nupur and Attila felt a spark between them. They spent the next few days together.

However, their holiday in Goa was over and everyone had to return to their duties. Attila packed his suitcases for the Netherlands, where he lived and worked, and Nupur for his home. However, the two decided to take risks by maintaining a distance relationship with the help of social networks.

A few months later, they planned a new vacation together. However, their plans failed because Nupur’s mother fell ill and needed urgent brain surgery. Then Attila decided to fly to India to support his beloved.

As soon as her mother recovered, the two set out on a journey. The lovers visited Dubai, Serbia and Thailand.

In September 2019, Nupur received a visa and left for the Netherlands. Attila took her to his homeland to introduce her to her parents.

And a year after their first meeting, in March 2020, the two were married at the former Hague mayor’s office Trouwlocatie Groenmarkt.

By the way, they become the last couple to marry in this place before the pandemic.

Like everyone else in the world, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the newlyweds spend the next few months in isolation.

“I think it’s a great test for a relationship. If you can live with a person for months without interesting events and entertainment, other than the ones you can think of in your apartment, you’ll keep your happiness and your relationship strong.” says Attila.
