Peter and his students still have extremely close emotional ties. It seems to me that in the film we managed to capture , “said Linda Weinberg. “I want this film to be a tribute to teachers. Every good teacher is also a director and, in a good sense, a social engineer. And it shouldn’t be underestimated. Peter Krilov is a great example of that.”
The film will feature previously unpublished video archive materials from the life of students in Daugavpils in the 1990s entrusted to the Krilov Daugavpils Actors’ Course. The values of the Latvian Television video archive will also give an insight into the processes that began in Latvian theaters in the turbulent 1990s.
