An octogenarian couple was found dead in their swimming pool in the Hérault in Gignac on Saturday July 30.
That day, they must receive friends at home. After a while, seeing that the couple does not open the door for them, their friends return home and discover them drowned in their swimming pool. They then call around 6:30 p.m. the Lodève gendarmerie.
Findings are made with a forensic pathologist and a criminal investigation technician. At this time, the cause of their death remains unknown. The autopsy results should bring more elements early next week.
Drownings in private swimming pools are unfortunately not exceptional. But there, what surprised us was that it was two people at the same time. Maybe one was unwell and the other wanted to help.
