A couple of lawyers who live in a luxurious St. Louis, Missouri, mansion came out to “defend” their home with weapons. Both targeted the Black Lives Matter protesters.
A large number of photos and videos of the marriage of Mark y Patricia McCloskey flooded social media. The couple went barefoot to the door of their mansion and began to target and confront Black Lives Matter protesters, who were walking peacefully to the house of the mayor of St. Louis.
Consulted by the press, the lawyers assured that they had been told that the protesters wanted to enter their property, a luxurious mansion that they bought in 1988 and that made them recognized in the region for the renovation they carried out.
The real reason for the march, which brought together about 300 people, was ask St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson to resign.

The reaction in social networks
The tense situation experienced on the street contrasted with the reaction of social network users, who quickly they made memes with the images taken by the protesters and the press.

At the same time, the couple received support from another group of users. One of them even posted: “The same people who destroy private property and threaten residents wonder why residents are leaving their homes with AR-15?” A tweet from Ryan Fournier, founder of Students for Trump, also went viral, stating: “God bless the couple in St. Louis who stood firm and defended their property. God bless the second amendment. “
The couple works at their mansion, where they remodeled an area they called the McCloskey Law Center. Among its main clients are those who “suffer severe traumatic brain injuries, neck, back, spinal cord and other serious, disabling or fatal neurological injuries. The objective of our practice is provide significant compensation to those who suffer such devastating injuries, or the survivors of the deceased as a result of such devastating injuries. ”
