A Coruña Hospital discharges the last hospitalized with coronavirus | Radio Coruña

Four months and a few days after the first patient with Covid-19 from Galicia enter University Hospital of A Coruña, the health center has today been free of patients with this pathology. The last patient has been discharged in the last hours. She is a 75-year-old woman who had been hospitalized since the beginning of June.

Right now there are no admitted to the plant or the Intensive Care Unit, as reported this afternoon by the Coruña hospital. Gone are the 128 deceased in the hospitals of A Coruña and Cee and the 40 in the residences of the whole of the Coruña region.

In the health area, there are currently 22 active cases. All of them remain at home under medical supervision. So far, 619 people with coronavirus have died in Galicia. A total of 10,880 have been cured.

Other sanitary areas

There are six patients with positive for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus admitted to hospitals in Galicia who belong to the Lugo health area. In Vigo there remains a person admitted to the ICU of the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital.

In the Lugo, A Mariña and Monforte area, active cases have increased to 190, adding 24 more than this Thursday, of which six correspond to patients admitted -one in the HULA and five in the Hospital Público da Mariña-, while that 184 remain in home monitoring.

To date, in this health area, which registers a Covid-19 outbreak with more than 150 cases, 28 people have died and 950 discharges have been registered, health sources have indicated.

At Vigo area The 24 active cases are under follow-up at home and the hospitals there are still without patients admitted with Covid. To date 2,168 people have been cured.

He Health Area of ​​Santiago and BarbanzaFor its part, it registers 14 active cases, under follow-up at home and continues without hospitalized patients. So far, people cured amount to 1,754 and the PCR carried out stands at 32,749.

For its part, in the Ourense area the active case that it registers -one less than this Wednesday- corresponds to a patient in home monitoring. This province registers 1,883 people cured and 132 deaths. In addition, so far it has performed 29,056 PCR.

At Pontevedra and O Salnés area active cases remain in three, in home monitoring. And in the Ferrol area active cases are located in two, also in home monitoring. To date, there are 582 non-active cases and 33 deaths.

Of the 256 positive cases throughout Galicia, 24 correspond to the area of ​​Vigo -10 less than this Wednesday-; 22 to that of A Coruña and Cee -three less-; 14 to that of Santiago and Barbanza -one more-; one to that of Ourense -one less-; 190 to that of Lugo -24 more-; two to Ferrol -igua- and three to Pontevedra -without changes-.
