Gatocán, the protective association of dogs and cats, presents its solidarity calendar 2017, in which Deportivo players participate. The entity denounces that the municipal government does not advance, despite its promises, in the control of colonies of cats in the street.
Gatocán houses about 300 animals, the capacity of the shelter. The exact number of cats that are on the street is not known. This protective society attributes it to the lack of proper control of the colonies and holds the local executive responsible for this. Beatriz Martín, president of Gatocán.
