A test stick for a whole school class? A Pforzheim teacher took a colleague’s April Fool’s joke at face value. But not every student took part.
The story could seem strange to many people, but apparently it actually happened at a Pforzheim school: During a teacher meeting on April 1, a colleague is said to have talked about new corona rules. Another teacher at the high school is said to have taken the April Fool’s joke seriously and then wanted to test his entire class for Corona with just one stick. However, many fifth-grade students are said to have refused. The Pforzheimer Zeitung reported about it first.

The regional council is examining the case
A spokeswoman for the regional council in Karlsruhe announced on Friday that the case had not yet been clarified, not least because of the Easter holidays. From the middle of next week you can probably give more information.
According to the regional council, nobody has been infected by the campaign – not even with other diseases. The children’s parents have been informed of the incident and investigations are ongoing.
