A communist councilor of Zaragoza has encouraged on Twitter “Hang” the King. It is the response that Alberto Cubero proposes for the dismissal of the TVE scriptwriter who wrote the offensive label against the Princess of Asturias. The text appeared live, while she was informed of the Baccalaureate studies that Doña Leonor is going to study in Wales. For two minutes, the banner appeared on the screen “Leonor is leaving Spain, like her grandfather”.
“Laborer fired, monarch hanged!”, proclaimed this Sunday the communist Alberto Cubero in his account of the well-known social network, after echoing an information disseminated by the portal he controls Dina Bousselham, former advisor to Pablo Iglesias, from the intimate circle of trust of the founder and leader of Podemos. The information alludes to the lawsuit that the scriptwriter would have filed before the labor jurisdiction against his dismissal by RTVE.
The king demanded the dismissal of the TVE workers because of the sign that he did not like.

That worker was separated after the leadership of the public entity apologized for the incident and clarified responsibilities for what happened. This internal procedure led to the dismissal of Bernat Barrachina, who was a scriptwriter for the program “La hora de La 1” and who in his day had been the press officer of the Badalona City Council with the Socialists of the PSC.
In February, which at that time was the sole administrator of RTVE, Rosa Maria Mateo, issued a statement in which he announced immediate measures for the offensive label. Among those measures, he pointed out the relief of those responsible. He accused them of committing “A grave irresponsibility”, inappropriate for RTVE’s commitment to “the defense of constitutional values and State institutions and above all, the Crown.”
However, the communist Alberto Cubero, the visible head of the IU in Zaragoza, takes advantage of what happened to attack the King with the slogan of “Worker fired, monarch hanged” that he has spread on Twitter and adds to the long list of verbal excesses accumulated by this mayor who was part, in the last legislature, of the political government who was in charge of the Zaragoza Consistory, with Pedro Santisteve as mayor.
In October 2019, for example, he sent “To drop it” to the councilor of the PP Natalia Chueca. In March 2018, as deputy mayor, he closed a commission by broaching a «The jodels» to the councilors of the opposition. That same month, this communist mayor called the judges “terrorists” for having condemned rapper Pablo Hasel and journalist from far-left channels Jorge Correa “Boro” for exalting terrorism.
A few months later, in June 2018, Alberto Cubero made fun of the murder of Carrero Blanco to criticize the appointment of astronaut Pedro Duque as the new Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities. “Pedro Duque, the second astronaut minister in Spain after Carrero Blanco, who also flew very high”Cubero wrote on social networks along with a photomontage in which the former Francoist president Luis Carrero Blanco appeared in an astronaut suit.
In November, Alberto Cubero publicly charged the judges again for the sentence handed down by a Zaragoza magistrate against a decision of the municipal government of which this communist mayor was then deputy mayor. “I don’t give a damn what the judge says”said Cubero.
