A case of measles has been laboratory confirmed in the Lida region, reported in the main health department of the Grodno regional executive committee. The disease is suspected in 15 more people. Laboratory research is currently being carried out at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.
It is already known that the “zero” patient came to the district from a neighboring region, which is not specified. All 16 cases are people who had contact with the sick person. Patients with suspected measles were hospitalized in the infectious diseases department of the Lida regional hospital.
