The Bulgarian woman with the initials AS threatened a Turkish deputy mayor with inappropriate nude images allegedly belonging to him.
Mahmut Topcu, 44, father of 4, is the Deputy Mayor of Erdemli Municipality, Mersin County, in southeastern Turkey. He is assumed to have had an affair and talked to the woman, who lives in Sofia, from his WhatAspp account. In the footage, he danced while undressing in front of the Turkish man. Topchu also collaborated with the Bulgarian. The woman filmed the moments with the frivolous scenes with Topcu, reports the Turkish newspaper Sözcü.
The young woman threatened the mayor to spread the film among relatives and friends. In return, she asks Topcu to transfer a total of 20,000 Turkish lira (2,153 BGN) to her account.
Topcu, who could not bear the woman’s extortion, was frightened and filed a complaint with the prosecutor. The complaint contained the scandalous images, with him claiming that he is not the man in the video.
The Prosecutor’s Office immediately opened an investigation into the case.
Topcu subsequently issued a brief statement in Sozju that the proceedings on her complaint to the prosecutor’s office regarding the extortion were ongoing. “This woman has blackmailed many people in Turkey using the same method. The process continues,” she concluded.
