A body was discovered on Thursday June 16 by a merchant ship in the Strait of Pas-de-Calais, reports the Voix du Nord. According to the maritime prefecture of the Channel and the North Sea, “The ship proceeded to recover the body on board and reported this sad discovery to the regional operational center for surveillance and rescue (CROSS) Gris-Nez”. She then clarified that the victim “was in sea clothes”.
