One deadly accident happened this Saturday morning shortly before 7 a.m. on the A31 motorway South of Dijon.
Only one car is involved: a 28-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle on a road made slippery by ice. The driver’s son was killed in the accident, a 4 year old boy. The accident took place near the town ofOuges, in the Beaune-Nancy direction, at kilometer point 32.3.
The driver survived the shock but was transferred to intensive care at the CHU de Dijon.
In total, 8 accidents have occurred since the start of the day on Saturday, December 18, due to icy roads throughout the Côte-d’Or department. Salting operations were carried out.
The departments of the department still recommend that you be extremely careful if you drive in the Châtillonnais or on the departmental roads in the Arnay-le-Duc sector, near Beaune.
