LONDON – Legend Arsenal, Martin Keown thinks Mikel Arteta has repeated Unai Emery’s mistakes. The statement came after the Gunners defeated Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal’s home in the sixth week of the Premier League on Monday, October 26, 2020.
Emery, Arteta’s predecessor, was fired after 18 months with the Gunners. While training Arsenal, Arsenal coaches often change formations.

“They keep changing from one formation to another and they are doing this with Emery,” Keown told Stadium Astro citing Metro, Tuesday (27/10/2020).
“That’s what I want to see now, same scheme, same triangle, same movement, same partnership, same relationship. “If you keep changing it, you don’t find a rhythm, and that’s a problem in teams that don’t succeed,” he added.
Before being defeated by Leicester, Arteta’s troops were also defeated by Manchester City. At that time, Arteta used a 4-3-3 formation.
Previously, Arsenal used a 4-3-3 scheme when they won 2-1 against Sheffield United. Previous match against Liverpool, Arteta played a 3-4-3 formation.
