Athletics – Vetter starts at the ISTAF in Berlin

Berlin (SID) – The former javelin world champion Johannes Vetter (Offenburg) has given his approval for a start at the ISTAF in Berlin. Sprint shooting star Deniz Almas (Wolfsburg) and German discus champion Clemens Prüfer (Potsdam) will also take part in the oldest athletics meeting in the world on September 13th in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.

“I have started three times at the ISTAF so far and have won three times. I would very much like to continue this series,” said Vetter. Long jump world champion Malaika Mihambo (LG Kurpfalz), obstacle European champion Gesa-Felicitas Krause (Trier) and pole vault world record holder Armand Duplantis (Sweden) had already agreed.
