Ana Saltão, inspector of the PJ, was acquitted. Angry victim’s family.
Filomena Gonçalves, an 80-year old merchant from Coimbra, was killed eight years ago with 14 consecutive shots. Ana Saltão, inspector of the Judiciary Police, was the wife of Filomena’s grandson, also an inspector of the PJ.
She was the only suspect in Filomena’s death, was accused by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, but was eventually acquitted for lack of evidence.
