This Saturday, August 8, the first French channel broadcast the comedian’s show for its prime time. The result: a landmark failure.

Summer is traditionally a quiet time for television. But last night, TF1 was entitled to a score of which it will be little proud. Never, since Médiamétrie measures TV audiences, the channel had so few French viewers connected to its channel during prime time, as Le Parisien reported. In question: a replay of a Franck Dubosc show, “Fifty / Fifty”.
August 8 to forget very quickly
According to data from Médiamétrie, the comedian only managed to gather 1.07 million viewers, in other words a shy 6.8% audience share. TF1 barely matched the result of the first broadcast made on TMC.
The first channel, which usually boasts of its high scores achieved throughout the year, was overtaken by all its competitors. It is not even France 2 which reached the top of the podium with Fort Boyard (18.3% of the audience) but France 3 thanks to the TV movie “Black Rocks” (22%). Even M6 overtook TF1 with an audience of 8.2% and a film in which we find… Franck Dubosc! TMC finally comes not far behind with “Columbo” (4.8%).
The day was not better for TF1 since it posted only a pale 14.8% of audience. Honor is safe, this is not a record, but still the second worst day of the first channel in its history.
