There are major regional differences: Rotterdam is the undisputed corona frontrunner in the Netherlands, while no corona contamination has been detected in 102 municipalities.

In Rotterdam, about 12.5 infections had been measured against 10,000 inhabitants in the past two weeks. That is the most of all municipalities.

In absolute terms, Rotterdam is also in the lead, with 812 new infections in two weeks. Amsterdam is number two, with 576 infections. This is also relatively high compared to the number of inhabitants. In the eastern half of the country, the number of infections is relatively small compared to the west.
