The police are aware of the situation and report that the farmers are on the Schiphol site. They report the action themselves via various livestreams.
The angry farmers were stopped on their way to Schiphol Airport. Two buses were parked at right angles to the road on the Loevesteinserandweg just before the Schiphol Tunnel, to block the road to Schiphol for the farmers, who, according to a witness, are being returned under police supervision via Schiphol-East.
The military police also took action on Wednesday when the farmers, on their way to Amsterdam, drove past Schiphol.
