Two weeks after revealing additional details about the Smart Delivery and waiting to see if a ” Xbox Lockhart Is, or is not, in preparation, Microsoft has spoken to share more information on games optimized for Xbox Series X.
One badge, two different meanings
You may have already noticed that several projects planned for the end of the year and 2021 on the new generation console display a badge “Optimized for Xbox Series X” on some trailers. As explained the official website of the american company, it will also be present on the jackets of the games which will meet at least one of the following two criteria:
- The title is designed ” native to Xbox Series X, like Halo Infinite »
- The title is already available but ” the developers greatly improved it by using the environment of the Xbox Series X to fully exploit the new possibilities and the power offered by the machine, like Gears 5. »
The original features in question are ray tracing, the division of loading times by four thanks to Xbox Velocity Architecture “And the possibility of playing in 4K / 60 fps even if games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Scorn still seem to have work to achieve this goal. Remember in passing that DiRT 5 will also be playable with a framerate reaching 120 frames per second when it is released on next-gen platforms.

Note that this should increase next month since Microsoft will organize on a date still unknown Inside Xbox dedicated to first-party titles from Xbox studios.
